Ron Paul expects homeschool movement to play revolutionary role

During his farewell speech to Congress this week, Ron Paul suggested that the homeschooling movement would play a revolutionary role in restoring limited government.

“Expect the rapidly expanding homeschool movement to play a significant role in the revolutionary forms needed to rebuild a free society with constitutional protections,” he said. “We cannot expect a federal government controlled school system to provide the intellectual ammunition to combat the dangerous growth of government that threatens our liberties.” — Ron Paul

I watched this on-line and cried. It’s hard to watch a real patriot leave congress. I have decided based on current events to never send my children into the public system again. We need more people like Ron Paul, and through homeschooling I can ensure that another patriot is developed. I’ve been researching best curricula I can find, because I was badly public schooled. This week I have decided to use The Mystery of History, thanks in part to your clarification of the amateur reviews all over the internet.
