Eric was born June 11 at around 9AM after a 35 hour labor. He weighs 6 lbs 14 oz and is 20 inches long. Mother and child are doing great. Grandmother is recovering.

That was such a long labor. I pray she gets to rest a bit before she goes home.

You must be so relieved. I know I had long labors too but, as long as mother and babe are healthy her labors are soon soothed away with babies coos.
They make a lovely family. I hope to be blessed with Grandchildren someday too. Enjoy him as I know from your heartfelt posts you will!
