Learn Movie Making with Stop Motion Animation lets you turn your stories into movie productions. By including a book, camera and the software you need for a Windows PC, the kit gives you a fast start into the fun of producing your own animations. Nate and Ryan Eckerson, home educated brothers, were inspired to assemble the kit after spending several years creating “brickfilms” by animating their Lego collection. Having gone on to start their own video production business, the brothers realized that many of the techniques used in stop motion apply just as well to regular video production, making stop motion an excellent tool for learning basic filmmaking.

Chapters include script writing, set building, lighting, animating, sound, and how to edit the results with Windows Movie Maker. You can animate toys, clay figures, kitchen utensils or any object that can be posed. The book is written for ages 10 and up.
