Concerning the question on curriculum that teaches to ask questions — I have a suggestion. While it is not a curriculum, it is a book. It’s called Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions by Gregory Koukl. Koukl is the chief apologist and president of Stand to Reason.
Tactics is a simple but amazingly helpful book on how to lead a discussion by asking questions. More importantly, it teaches the reader how to ask questions and what type of questions to ask. It employs various forms of logic throughout the entire book.
I highly recommend it.
By the way, I oversee our church’s Deepening Your Faith ministry, which is our quarterly Christian Education Ministry. We offer a certificate of completion for those students who do the reading, tests, and writing for all four quarters of classes. For our first quarter of classes called “Smart Faith,” we required both The Fallacy Detective and The Thinking Toolbox along with Smart Faith by J.P. Moreland.
Our students, over 200 of them and mostly adults, loved the material and found it challenging and helpful. Thank you for making such great content in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner.
