Go here and view two paintings by Claude Monet:

At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York there are several works by Monet, including one which has a lot of turquoise color in it, and in the middle of the painting is Madame Monet and a large stand of hollyhocks. This painting belongs to a group of paintings done in the summer of 1876. What is the title of that painting? The 3rd and 7th persons to email me (bluedorn AT triviumpursuit DOT com) the correct answer win a copy of Teaching the Trivium: Christian Homeschooling in a Classical Style.

I’ve made a pilgrimage to Monet’s garden in Giverny, France.
It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I highly recommend that anyone who loves to garden should go and visit.
