The Freeman’s Pit scouting trip went well. We met our four objectives of (1) training our crew in vertical caving, (2) replacing the storyboard drawings with photos, (3) testing the hauling system for the cameraman, and (4) taking some test footage with the HC1 to see how the camera operates in this environment and whether we can get the angles we want in Freeman’s Pit.
