Go here and view two paintings by Claude Monet:
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York there are several works by Monet, including one which has a lot of turquoise color in it, and in the middle of the painting is Madame Monet and a large stand of hollyhocks. This painting belongs to a group of paintings done in the summer of 1876. What is the title of that painting? I believe it is called Camille Monet in the Garden at Argenteuil, 1876.
I’ve made a pilgrimage to Monet’s garden in Giverny, France.
It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I highly recommend that anyone who loves to garden should go and visit.
