One of two things could happen today during the CT scan: 1. Everything will go fine and I’ll have loads of fun; or 2. The dye they inject into my veins will ignite my white blood cells and there will be a large explosion in Aledo which means we won’t be going out for ice cream afterwards.
And…??? How did it go? What were the results?
Praising God today for His kindness to me. The doctor declared me NED (no evidence of disease) — the CT scan was clean and the CA 125 blood test (tumor marker) was normal. I’ll be getting physical therapy so I can start to walk properly again. Thank you Lord.
In addition, my blood was tested for mutations on the BRCA gene, plus on several other genes, and it all came back negative. This means that me and my children are not at any genetic risk for ovarian cancer (and several other cancers). I think this is what it means.
How’d it go? I was just praying for you the other day! <3
