The bluebirds we have here in Illinois….

are different from the bluebirds in Colorado.

Here in Illinois, we thought that the meadowlark had become extinct, but we were wrong. They are alive and well in Colorado….
But most importantly, I learned that my new niece Arianna Grace is the most beautiful baby in the whole world….

How many people does it take to give a five pound baby a bath? Mommy, Grandma, and Aunt Laurie.
Ed and Ann are first-time parents. What is the best piece of advice you received when you were a new parent?
Dear Laurie and family,
My, oh my, she is an extremely beautiful baby!!! Praise ye the Lord!!! Congratulations to Mom, Dad, Grandma, Auntie, well…all of you!!! They just don’t come any sweeter…I can almost smell how fresh and precious she is by the photos!
You asked two questions that need answering. First, it can take up to 10 people to properly give a newborn a bath or diaper change, and then it can take many hours of conversation discussing how perfect that baby is and how wonderful the consistency of the bm’s, etc., is! (Or maybe that’s just my strange family?)
Second, the best advice ever given outside of raising the baby up in the fear and love of the Lord our God, is to spend as much time as possible with that child because it goes SOOOOO fast!!! Indeed it does. Also, to HOMESCHOOL that precious child at all costs so you can do the first two things mentioned above!
Our love to you and yours, in Christ,
Christine
P.S. love the photos of the birds! One of our very favorite pasttimes here is birding! Thanks for sharing.
Just relax. That’s the best advice. The baby will basically tell you what she needs. And congratulationsn, Ann and ED!
Arianna is beautiful and a welcomed addition to the Anderson family. We hope to see her in Texas in September for her Uncle Lyle’s 6oth birthday. Congratulations Ed and Ann.
Love, Dianne & Dave
Laurie-thank you for sharing this with us. Ed’s sister and brother-in-law.
Congratulations all! She is precious and so tiny. God is so good!
The best piece of advice I got was to not worry and relax (I constantly worried that I was not doing this or that “right”). She continued saying that I will mess up and my son would have a reason to be in therapy when he grows up, BUT God was in control and He is so much bigger than any “mistake” I was going to make. My son is under His care. Praise the Lord!!!
