Australian Huntsman spider found by homeschooling family in Nerang, Queensland, Australia. Michelle Smith, the mother, writes, “I killed the spider with a l-o-n-g stick, and then we pieced it back together for a photo (those are Bree’s 6 year old hands). It turned out to be an Australian Huntsman, and it looked much bigger alive when it was stretching its legs out wide. The children enjoyed it!”
